The rule was submitted in response to a call of "Ejection" by HP Umpire Roberto "from Puerto Rico" Ortiz (Puerto Rico) who is from Puerto Rico. At the time of the egregious error in Puerto Rican umpire conduct, Toronto was leading 3-0. Toronto ultimately won the contest 8-7.
